First night in California + Hotel Review

Hi guys! If you are following along on my Instagram -- (@jensiewright), you might have seen that I took a short, but sweet vacation to California with my best friend. This was my first time visiting and if I could move there in a heart beat, I would. Everything about the atmosphere, lifestyle, and people made me feel right at home. Me and my friend stayed for a total of 4 nights, 5 days. The first two nights we stayed at The Westin in Pasadena which was everything we expected and more.

Pros
Extremely helpful & welcoming staff
Convenient vallet parking
Great location - close to Hollywood / Downtown LA
Very clean with nice amenities
Room had a stunning view of Pasadena

Cons
Nightly parking fee -- however, this is expected due to the fact the city owns the parking
You have to pay for wifi -- I brought my own hotspot and this worked just fine

Overall, I would have to say that the pros outweighed the cons by a long shot. Best hotel I have stayed at and I am 100% not being sponsored to say this!

To be honest, I had never really heard much about Pasadena before going on this trip, but I was blown away by how much I adored this city! For those of you who have not visited California, Pasadena is a must.  From the hotel, you are walking distance to Old Town which has cute shops and restaurants. We definitely felt safe enough to walk throughout the town and not worry about where we were. The first night we arrived we went to dinner and I wore this casual look. I totally felt at home wearing fringe, shorts, and hats at all times when in LA compared to GA, lol. The weather was beautiful every day we were there and I was so happy about that because I only brought shorts and summer clothes! Speaking of shorts, I am in love with One Teaspoon shorts... especially the "bandit" style. You will be seeing a lot of them on here, so I'm sorry in advance. They're addicting!
